In this new traditional jazz collection of songs, internationally acclaimed award-winning jazz singer/pianist, Carol Welsman pays special tribute to vocal icon, Miss Peggy Lee-- a singer she has always greatly admired. Carol’s choice of material features some of Lee’s classic hits from the lexicon of American pop song, including: "Why Don’t You Do Right,” "Fever" and "Lover," along with rarely heard treasures like the touching Lee original, "Angels On Your Pillow," which marks only the second time this song has been recorded. But, the most fascinating aspect of this compelling collection is the way each is treated as a new musical experience by Carol.
