Neighborhood associations, business owners and the faith community are encouraged to provide their opinions about the future direction of Pasadena’s Northwest Community Plan this fall.
The plan articulates a strategy for upgrading and restoring Northwest Pasadena in the areas of housing, economic development, employment opportunities, infrastructure improvements, social services and public safety.
A series of focus groups is scheduled as follows:
* Neighborhood associations in Districts 1, 3 and 5 – Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Center, 1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
* Northwest Pasadena businesses and commercial property owners – Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Pasadena Enterprise Center, 1015 N. Lake Ave.
* Faith-based organizations – Thursday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Villa-Parke Community Center, 363 E. Villa St.
