Semi Precious Weapons to tour

Semi Precious Weapons have been bringing their filthy glamour to riots across the globe! Now the New York rockers are taking a break from their worldwide tour with Lady Gaga to kick off their headlining tour, and are bringing "The Precious Empire" with them!

Nico Vega, Breedlove, and Lady Starlight-- SPW's friends from the wild NYC scene that spawned Lady Gaga, will be supporting the band on the headlining dates. The tour starts on April 21st in LA and heads east. The band will also dominate an arena near you as they continue to support Lady Gaga on The Monster Ball Tour including the sold out North America arena tour this summer.

Semi Precious Weapons debut album is almost upon us! Your filthy eyes can catch the first glimpse of the cover above! The band’s self-titled EP was the first taste of filthy glamour anthems like “Magnetic Baby” and “Put a Diamond In It”. The album, You Love You, is due out this June and was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Jack Joseph Puig (Green Day, Beck) and Semi Precious Weapons.

The record opens with front-man Justin Tranter howling, “Can’t pay my rent, but I’m fucking gorgeous!,” on the signature self-titled track, “Semi Precious Weapons.” “Sticky With Champagne” makes the party even wilder with it’s irresistible beat and driving riffs. The band throws a curveball with the piano-driven ballad “Leave Your Pretty To Me” which showcases their range and Tranter’s stunning vocals. The blazing riffs and repetitive chants of “Magnetic Baby” will turn any space into a dance-floor.
