Featuring talented songwriters from around the globe, the Songsalive! Showcases are the best industry secret, a great happening all around the world. Songsalive! Showcases are a very cozy, intimate and acoustic environment where media and music industry representatives often drop by to check out the latest talent. Showcase your music and support our Songsalive! national and international live events and showcases presenting songwriters and artists of original music. Showcases are conducted globally.

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE:
Hallenbeck's is an well known venue for acoustic Los Angeles Songwriters and performers - they have a small stage with a great sound system, great food and drinks, it is family friendly too, with free parking on the street.

ARTISTS:
We have four amazing performers who will be doing sets in two rounds - so nice you hear them all twice! And we'll have a short intermission in the middle for food, stretching, and conversation.

FEATURING:

Dean Dobbins
Dean Dobbins was the leader of the 1990 California Country Music Association Band of the Year the Dean Dobbins Band and won CCMA awards for Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Dean performs only as a soloist these days. He has recorded 8 CDs of original songs. His latest CD "She's Hot" contains 24 fully produced songs, most recorded in Nashville, featuring Teresa James on one ballad and many Nashville singers including Buddy Jewell. His songs are pitched by a publisher in Dallas, Texas.

Gil Hager
Gil is a former Folk/Blues/Classic Country/Irish/Songs of the Sea bar performer from the seventies with an album of original songs on Fretless Records in the mid 1970’s backed by accomplished musicians. He started writing and performing again and recorded with members of Taj Mahal’s Hula Blues Band, and other notable musicians including The Ragwagon Band. Gil has at least 3 CDs in the can in various stages of completion including Mojo Remedy with Steve Miles who is a virtuoso blues/ R&B guitar player and my songwriting partner in Hawaii.

Orisha
Orisha is a solo artist, based in Los Angeles of Slavic and Scandinavian ancestry. A classically trained violin player & singer, Orisha has been writing music in different genres for more then decade and professionaly recorded violin parts for variety of artists . Her music - eclectic explosion, interweaves mixed music genres, world grooves and modern synth sounds. Unique and sensual dance symfony takes you on a ride from the first note you hear. In 2008 ORISHA formed Orisha Sound project – band with the mission to discovery of a new sound through the conscious fusion of various musical styles, world grooves, melodies & dance. Currently, Orisha is in a studio, polishing her self-produced 24 song album “The Sweet Spot”, which will be release in 2010. She is rehersing for a live show, including a band, DJ and dancers, which will run in Los Angeles starting March 2010.

William BeloteWilliam Belote is a songwriter/composer who has released a new album “Portraits of Albert E.”, 12 songs about Albert Einstein. He has placed songs in films, scored films, and have released 7 instrumental CDs. He is the co-owner of Music House Productions and Radio Willstar Music ascap and has a recording studio in Granada Hills. William plays piano, guitar, program synthesizers and loves to collaborate.
