Bluegrass jam, 2 Frets Lower and Murphy's Flaw coming to Viva Cantina in Burbank beginning in June

Burbank's Viva Cantina
900 Riverside Drive, Burbank, CA 91506
(818) 845-2425

open bluegrass jam THIRD MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH. Each jam starts with a workshop ( fee is $7.00 for participants of the workshop, Jam is free) from 6-7 followed by open jamming til 10 or whenever people stop ordering food and drinks. Monday night specials are $2.50 margaritas!

2 Frets Lower will be appearing at Viva Cantina on the 4th Monday of each month. From time to time, we will have guest musicians join us on stage."Jammers" are welcome to the show or play in the back room. Cody Bryant and the folks at Viva Cantina have been gracious enough to support the Bluegrass community. Let's all return the favor and support Viva.

Murphy's Flaw, has inked a deal with Viva to play the second Monday of every month ...Bluegrass at a Mexican Restaurant? Of course, haven't you ever heard of Kentucky-Mex cuisine? There will be other bands each Monday of the month, and they no doubt will raise the standards musically. The Flaw, on the other hand, will lower them precipitously every first Monday. It's kind of like a bluegrass roller coaster; you may want to raise both arms and yell, "Whee!"
