Toubab Krewe at the Mint Oct. 2 in support of new album

On October 2nd, Toubab Krewe, the West African-educated rockers from Asheville, NC who are “a triumph of originality and appeal” (Boston Globe), will celebrate their new album 'TK2' (Nat Geo Music) with a special performance at The Mint that follows up a summer of touring nationwide, including stops at the Hangout Festival, Manifestivus and Nateva Festival.

"Toubab Krewe are what Vampire Weekend would have sounded like if their parents took away their BMWs, dosed their white wine spritzers and locked them in Fela's basement," is how one blogger describes them.
