Parents' Choice announces fall children's music winners

The Parents' Choice Foundation announced its Fall 2010 Audio Award winners this morning, and several Sugar Mountain PR clients have won recognition:

Gold Award
Justin Roberts - Jungle Gym

Silver Awards
Oran Etkin - Wake Up, Clarinet!
Hap Palmer - Learning in Two Languages/Aprendiendos en dos idiomas
The Okee Dokee Brothers - Take It Outside

Recommended Awards
Debbie and Friends - More Story Songs and Sing Alongs
Jeremy Plays Guitar (Jeremy Zmuda) - Use Your Words
Uncle Rock - The Big Picture

As Parents' Choice notes in their awards announcement, "Those who write original songs and stories deliver intelligent, inventive lyrics; they craft and tell a captivating story, in words and music. They create magical worlds that kids believe – and want to live in – if even for only a few minutes."

Designed to help parents and caregivers of all achievements and backgrounds make informed decisions about which new products are right for their children, the Parents' Choice Awards is the nation's oldest nonprofit program created to recognize quality children's media. The Parents' Choice Awards program honors the best material for children: books, toys, music and storytelling, magazines, software, videogames, television and websites. Parents' Choice Foundation's panels of educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents and, yes, kids themselves, identify the very best products for children of different ages and backgrounds, and of varied skill and interest levels.
