Halford to appear at Best Buy in Northridge Thursday

It's not often that metalheads get a chance to get up close and personal with rock royalty.
But those who live in the Northridge, California area will soon get a chance to meet one of heavy metal's all-time great vocalists, Rob Halford, at an upcoming store signing.

The complete Halford band will be on hand Thursday, September 30th, 2010 (from 7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M.), to sign copies of their brand new release, 'Halford IV: Made of Metal,' at Best Buy store #1180 (19350 Nordhoff Way, Northridge, CA 91324).

Produced by Roy Z. and recorded during 2009 and 2010, 'Made Of Metal' will be released two days prior to the Best Buy autograph session (September 28th), and showcases a bulk of material penned exclusively by Rob Halford.

'Made Of Metal' features fourteen new Halford studio tracks, including the lead-off single "The Mower" and current single "Made Of Metal," as well as "Fire And Ice," "Till The Day I Die," "Undisputed," "Heartless," and "Thunder And Lightning."

Additionally, Halford’s new NASCAR-themed, animated-music video for "Made Of Metal" (created by London-based animator Dean Wright) made it's debut September 13th, 2010, and is now available at www.robhalford.com/madeofmetal.

"It is probably the most personal release of my solo career; in terms of my writing and performances," explains Halford.
