Neverwonder at the Whisky Oct. 7

On the heels of the success generated by their recent CD release "Let It Out," Los Angeles, Calif-based soul/rock band Neverwonder and their fan base are set to descend on the world-famous Whisky A GoGo for the 20th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards Voting Party, Thursday, October 7. Lead vocalist Megan Bobo is nominated in the "Best Female Vocalist" category for the LAMA's, whose Main Event is November 18 at Paramount Theater on the Paramount Lot in Hollywood, Calif.

Neverwonder competes in "The Last Band Standing" competition at Pala Casino Spa & Resort, 11154 Highway 76, Pala, Saturday, October 9. 2 p.m. Free. Info: (877) 946-7252 or log onto www.palacasino.com.

. The band is also interviewed and performs live on Actors E Chat in Hollywood, Tuesday, November 16 at 10 a.m. (log onto www.actorsentertainment.com to watch and chat live during the interview).

"Let's get one thing out into the open right out front, the lead singer Megan Bobo is hot and I'm not just talking about her looks, her vocals are tight and sexy! Megan brings a sexy hot and very powerful sound that was meant to hang with this band called Nevewonder. With that much power on the mic you had better have a band that can handle all that heat and this band has the balance to do just that! Each song is better than the next."

Since the addition of American Idol finalist in 2007, Megan Bobo, Neverwonder has created a fun and revolutionary sound (other members are bassist Vincent Ramos; drummer Andres Ramos; and guitarist, Scott Ramsay). With the combination of Megan's soulful vocals and the band's unique Modern Rock vibe, "Let It Out" is anticipated to be the album that will take the L.A./Orange County-based band to the next level. The seventeen-song disc showcases Neverwonder's ability to capture multiple audiences, ranging from dance-friendly songs to songs that will pull at one's heart strings. Songs like the title track "Let It Out" and "Wild Out" are catchy, radio and club-friendly anthems; conversely, album tracks "Enough" and "The Edge" stop one in their tracks, painting a picture of life's unfortunate obstacles.

"Young and fresh, Neverwonder is a pop/rock/soul band fronted by talented songstress Megan Bobo, whose vocals are drenched in the style of soul/rock that launched the careers of Tina Turner, Pink, and Joss Stone," raves MUSIC CONNECTION.

"All of the material in Neverwonder's set is well-crafted and full of energy. Above all, they are an excellent band of musicians who have strong songs. A sheer delight!," concludes writer, Anne O'Neary.

"Another band that really stood out was Neverwonder, a funky blend of rock and R&B from Los Angeles with an awesome girl singer fronting the band named Megan Bobo. She reminded me of a young Taylor Dayne, and they performed brilliantly," said VEGAS ROCKS MAGAZINE of Neverwonder's performance at Indie Wars Live.

"Adding (vocalist) Megan Bobo has given these mainly self-taught musical prodigies just the soul they needed," writes Chris Broekemeir in ALL ACCESS MAGAZINE. "Now they are entering the elusive place all musicians dream of: mainstream success."

In a time when the music industry is searching for creativity and originality, Neverwonder is just this. More than anything, "Let It Out" demonstrates that Neverwonder is a real band with authentic instrumentation, lyrical storytelling, musical dynamics, and memorable arrangements.
