Thanks for the heads-up. I was a regular at the earlier version of Listening Room at the Aztec Hotel in Monrovia. Some of the names on the notice are familiar from those days. Much as I love AMCB, it's good to go to a musical event where earplugs aren't needed. The Aztec got extra points for being a genuine Route 66 landmark and having a friendly old cat who appreciated a good skritching every now and then.

I like the Aztec too-- it's a place filled with history, but I'm sure the Sierra Madre Playhouse will sound just as good.
