Artistic Voyage in concert in Yorba Linda Feb. 13

If February is for lovers, then Artistic Voyage’s upcoming concert and gallery exhibition is tailor-made for Romance music and art lovers! It is scheduled for Sunday, February 13, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda.

Called String Along, the chamber music concert features works from the most-loved Romance composers, including Brahms Quartet No. 1 in G minor. The gallery exhibition is titled Spring, Love, Life – and features the works of several outstanding contemporary local artists. Tickets are $30; $15 for students. Gallery viewing begins at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

“This Valentine’s event will touch the hearts of lovers with music and art that is both lyrical and emotional, tender and filled with bravado,” says Yana Reznik, founder of Artistic Voyage and pianist at this concert.

Other String Along musicians are Serena McKinney, violin; Paul Coletti, viola; and Ron Leonard, cello.

Visual artists are the winners of the international competition Spring, Love, Life, hosted by LarkGalleryOnline, which focuses on the artistic interpretations of the cosmic energies of new beginnings, attraction and blossoming. All artwork will be available for purchase.

Artistic Voyage will host its final concert and exhibition for this season on Sunday, April 3, with members of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Colburn Conservatory faculty. “We are committed to bringing the church back into the celebration and encouragement of the arts in our community,” says Robert Mooney, senior pastor at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Artistic Voyage is a Yorba Linda-based classical music / art exposition series with a worldwide vision. The series uses the transformative power of music and art to inspire people from all walks of life to unite behind a common purpose to make a difference in the world. This is the fifth concert in the series.

Messiah Lutheran Church is located at 4861 Liverpool Street, Yorba Linda, CA 92886. For more information or to order tickets, please call 714-579-2998 or go online at www.artisticvoyage.org.
