Comedy benefit for Rebuilding Together SGVF tonight in Arcadia

Friday, January 21, 2011 at Zapata Vive Restaurant a talented group of comedians will be putting on a comedy show to raise money for Rebuilding Together SGVF. Rebuilding Together SGVF is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates homes for the most venerable of our population-the low income elderly, disabled veterans and families with children.

Rebuilding Together SGVF is one of over 200 affiliates in the Rebuilding Together organization, the nation’s leading nonprofit group that is working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities. All this is done by providing critical home repair and modification services to those in need at no cost to homeowners. All of this work required funds which are raised through fundraiser and donations.

The Comedy Show Fundraiser is being made possible by the generous donation of the venue Zapata Vive 101 S 1st Avenue Arcadia, Ca and the talented comedians. Headliner Scott Shimamoto , Diane Kawasaki, Paula Johnson, Deon Williams, Rawle Dee, Richard Chang, Gene Steichen, and Barry Weisenberg With the help of the volunteering spirit of citizens, skilled trades people, local business and corporate partners life can be made considerably better for low income homeowners and those communities in which they live.
