December is shaping up to be a busy and fun month; several upcoming opportunities to play and join others in playing, too.
December 11th--
The Songwriter Sanctum---show begins at 2 PM. We’ve done this before and it’s fun—lots of artists to hear! Part of our invitation to play again is here:
It will be our 3rd Annual Holiday Show -- and party -- at Songwriter Sanctum! As before, it'll be a Holiday Show, potluck, and kid's toy/gift drive. Heartwarming, cozy, and a wonderful way to get into the feel of the season! Would you like to be part of the concert?
Most of you have played in the December show before, so you know the ropes. I'm inviting many artists to play. Each of you will perform TWO songs. I'm asking you to perform one traditional/cover holiday song with any interpretation you'd like. And the second can be an original (I'm encouraging original holiday tunes, but it's up to you)!
We'll be celebrating Hanukkah along with X-mas, so feel free to choose one of the beautiful songs for Hanukkah if you want to mix things up a bit! And feel free to celebrate Kwanzaa or winter solstice or whatever floats your boat, as well :-)

December 13th (a Tuesday night)--
Our friend J.C. Hyke holds what he has named the Songwriter Serenade each Tuesday at Matt Denny’s on Huntington Drive in Arcadia. This will be a Holiday music show, again with numerous groups or individuals providing original and traditional holiday tunes. You can read about this show on JC’s site: www.JCHyke.com
December 17th--
Our old buddy Jeff Gold has an acoustic music series monthly in his Music Store in West Hills. This will be another holiday-oriented event. Jeff inevitably rounds up terrific artists to participate.
