Scott Snapp’s unique style hits pop audiences hard yet crosses over to the cabaret and Broadway market perfectly. Drawing from his impressive catalogue of original material, his musical interpretations captivate and draw you to him, making you feel the music.
Produced by the legendary Bob Esty, who is responsible for some of the greatest music ever, having worked with such legends as Barbra Streisand, Cher, Donna Summer, The Beach Boys, Dusty Springfield, Paul Jabara, and Raquel Welch, “Scott Snapp in Concert” will prove to be a night not to be missed.
Snapp’s music is often described as theatrical pop, with such songs as, “No Grey Matter”, “Sgt. Baker” and “Without the Music”. His voice is a soothing light tenor similar to pop crooners such as Engelbert Humperdinck and Andy Williams. “Soliloquy of Solitude” is a real winner from a mold that harkens to Michel Legrand.
About Scott Snapp (http://www.scottsnapp.com/)
Scott was raised in rural Ohio where neighbors would often hear him walking down country roads or in the woods "singing full tilt." He first sang for others when he would go to his Grandmother's house as a young teenager and sing to her during the waning years of her life.
His music and lyrics stir the soul, drawing you into his web of musical pleasure. Few equal his warmth and passion, his dynamics and intensity when he takes the stage. Scott takes you on a musical journey with his mixture of gospel, pop, standards, and show tunes; he presents passionate musical stories that leave you breathless.
