Comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White, best known as the cigar smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from the “Blue Collar Comedy” phenomenon, returns to the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center with his new stand-up show, Moral Compass, for one night only on Saturday, February 18, at 7:00PM.
Ron White has always been a storyteller; from the time he was growing up in a small town in the middle of Texas to selling windows for a living in Arlington to performing in sold-out theaters and arenas as a headlining comedian all across the country. For two decades he lived the life of a struggling comedian, bouncing around in comedy clubs and driving to gigs in his pick-up truck. In short, he paid his dues.
White has received two Grammy nominations, a Gold Record, two of the top rated one-hour specials in Comedy Central history, a book that appeared on the New York Times Best Seller List and CD/DVD sales of over 10 million units.
“Expect a ton of laughs from the razor-sharp Texan and his unique humor,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. “We are thrilled to welcome back this gifted comedian to the Terrace Theater,” he concluded.
Tickets will be available beginning Friday, November 18th, at 10:00AM Ticket prices are $46 and $56 and can be purchased through TicketMaster at (800) 745-3000 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center Main Box Office located at 300 E. Ocean Boulevard. The Box Office is open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday and 12:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday.
