Spend a complete Friday night of dining and entertainment with Peter
Feldmann and the Very Lonesome Boys at Manny's Terrace Theater, 1693
Mission Drive, in Solvang. The Boys will present a fine bluegrass show
with plenty of great songs and tunes, along with a southern fried
chicken dinner with all the trimmings. The evening will begin at 5:30
PM with a no-host bar, followed by dinner at 6:00. The music will start
at 7:00 PM, with a break for refreshments, followed by a second set of
great bluegrass songs and sparkling instrumentals featuring the guitar
and banjo wizardry of David West with the championship fiddling of
Blaine Sprouse.

The venue for this show is the newly-refurbished Terrace Theater, which
features brand new "stadium-style" seating, great acoustics, theatrical
lighting, and a fine PA system. There's plenty of free, secure parking
just behind the building. Tickets, which include show reservations and
a complete dinner, are $35 and may be purchased at Manny's Restaurant
(under the Theater) and on-line at: [ http://www.bluegrasswest.com/tickets.htm ].

Named "The preeminent bluegrass artist in the area" by John Robinson,
Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Symphony, Peter Feldmann has
been presenting bluegrass, folk, string band, and related musics since
the early 1960's, and is known as the founder of the Santa Barbara Old
Time Fiddler's Convention, and the original Bluebird Café in Santa
Barbara, a music club highly influential on the Southern California
Music scene. Peter's tribute CD to Uncle Dave Macon, "Grey Cat On The
Tennessee Farm", was named to the nation's Top Ten Bluegrass albums of
2005 by Dave Ryoko ofthe Chicago Tribune. In 2008, Peter was awarded a "Music Legend Award" by the Topanga Banjo/Fiddle Contest organization.

The Very Lonesome Boys band includes bassist Tom Lee, veteran of the
Cache Valley Drifters and The Bluegrass Cardinals, who is a consummate
bassist in jazz and pop as well as bluegrass music. The banjo duties
are ably handled by record producer David West (Play Ball Productions),
known also for his song writing and engineering skills, and Blaine
Sprouse, master bluegrass fiddler, formerly with Bill Monroe, Jimmy
Martin, Jim & Jesse, and many other great bluegrass bands will preside
on fiddle. The band has performed throughout Southern and Central
California at festivals, clubs, and college concerts.
