Very Special Arts Festival in LA May 3

The Music Center of Los Angeles County presents the 33rd Annual Very Special Arts Festival, themed “Into the Future.” This admission-free festival celebrates the artistic achievements of students with disabilities along with their mainstream peers and is open to the public.

The Festival features continuous performances by more than 40 schools on two stages, along with special presentations from adult professional artists.

Additional activities include over 20 visual and performing arts workshops, an exhibit of over 1,000 theme-based works of student art, a photo booth and Spin-to-Win prize wheel sponsored by CVS Pharmacy, Wildlife Learning Center and their exotic animals, and ambassador dogs from Guide Dogs of America. Plus, stilt walkers, mimes, a magician, and disco dancing.

Held on the Plaza of the Music Center, the Very Special Arts Festival is produced in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Office of Education.
