Lucky Diaz, his new wife and longtime band mate Alisha, their daughter Ella, and their rotating set of band members live and work in Silverlake and are trend and style setters with their music an overall concept - hip, sweet, but never saccarine music that the whole family can enjoy.
They've performed at the Getty Center, McCabe's, and recently rocked the Target stage at the LA Times Book Festival at USC. In August, they have shows at the Skirball Center and Descanso Gardens.
Last month, they released a new CD featuring several original songs based on their experiences in Silverlake with their daughter. You may hear the new tunes here: http://www.luckydiazmusic.com/potluck
These songs are rotating on the kids' channel for Sirius-XM satellite radio.
