Pasadena gallery tributes Ray Bradbury

A Tribute to

Ray Bradbury (1924 - 2012):

A Creative Genius

Sculptor Christopher Slatoff with author Ray Bradbury
We say goodbye to author Ray Bradbury and his creative genius. We thank him for leaving us great works that continue to inspire us including: Something Wicked this Way Comes, Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, and countless short stories.

We are greatful that our own sculptor Christopher Slatoff spent the last several years with Ray Bradbury, gaining inspirational knowledge for the creation of the biographical sculpture Fr. Electrico--The Illustrated Man based on the life of Ray Bradbury. In 2008 the 3-foot bronze recieved the Gold Medal for Best Sculpture in the California Art Club's 97th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition held at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. ALFA is pleased to have the remaining editions of nine of the 3-foot version, and three of the 8-foot version.

If you would like to see this magnificent sculpture in person, please contact us through email or call us at
