THE CHRIS CERNA TRIO.....is a band based out of So-Cal's Inland Empire. Their versatile musicianship covers classy Jazz Standards, Romantic Bossa Nova, Swing, hard-driving Bebop, Americana, Pop & several original compositions written by the band members. With the combination of CHRIS CERNA's piano, mandolin & guitar; with a delicate yet hard-driving rhythm of CELESTE CERNA's upright bass and TONY DEL CASTILLO's creativity on drums, The Chris Cerna Trio creates a unique blend of music that would satisfy any listener. The band also performs with the great jazz vocalist, JJ Johnson who is known for his exceptional phrasing. Their first album, "JUST JAMMIN', was released at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, CA last September, 2012.
