Lady Starlight at Viper Room Jan. 20

  On Sunday, January 20^th, Lady Starlight will headline her own DJ set following an opening performance for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball at Staples Center in Los Angeles. She will be joined by Dirty Pearls, DJ David, Junius Frey, Sarai Knowledge & Pillow Theory for a memorable musical experience.

Lady Starlight is a multi-talented classic rock and metal DJ and performer as well as an inspirational style icon and writer. Lady Starlight oozes a unique blend of style and substance. She is a rabid record collector and scholar of rock history who uses fashion as a means of expressing her love for music. Sound and vision; DJing and style. She’s a Lady on a mission to bring rock and heavy metal back into its rightful place in pop culture. Her DJ sets combine interpretive performance with her vast collection of classic hard rock and heavy metal vinyl.

Rock DJ, fashion writer, style writer and performance artist LADY STARLIGHT has announced that she will be forming an integral part of the Born This Way Foundation ‘Born Brave Bus’ tailgate party, which will join Lady Gaga on the road for the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball tour. DJ White Shadow will also be playing and the party will be hosted by Breedlove. 

LADY STARLIGHT will also be the opening act for Gaga onstage at the Born This Way Ball tour with her unique performance art show, recently seen around by hundreds of thousands of ‘Little Monsters’ on the worldwide BTWB tour in mid and late 2012, which took in South America, South Africa, Europe and Australia. Starlight has also revealed that, for the first time, she will be incorporating live music into her North American performances.

Along with music from LADY STARLIGHT and DJ White Shadow, the tailgate party will include resources available in local communities including behavioural and mental health services, school psychologists, mentoring, volunteer opportunities and bullying and suicide prevention resources. Guests to the Born Brave Bus will also have the opportunity to learn new digital media skills and to participate in research supported by the Born This Way Foundation.
