Shimmy Showcase in Long Beach Jan. 20

January 20 –Ilana and guest dancer friends explore the roots of belly dance and celebrate womanhood and childbirth for this very special Shimmyshowcase.  You don’t want to miss this cast of stellar artists featuring past and current coordinators Alexiis, Jannah, Katerinaand Amber Ray; plus Akasha Star, Meryem Vani, Rachel from Sirena Serpentina and the Om Sisters!   In light of Viento y Agua’s 7:00 pm closing time, Shimmyshowcase will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.  Please plan to arrive early so you can get your refreshments and possibly a henna tattoo by Alexiis before settling in to watch an amazing showcase with these very talented dancers!  

All this presented for you at no cover charge at Viento y Agua Coffee House in Long Beach at 4007 East 4^th Street; 562-434-1182. Be sure to join us this Sunday as the next Shimmyshowcase won’t be until February 24!
