Bleed the Dream on tour and ready to release 2nd CD

Southern California’s BLEED THE DREAM will release their second full-length CD KILLER INSIDE April 10 on Warcon Records. Co-produced by acclaimed producer Garth “GGGarth” Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, Atreyu), Ben Kaplan and the band--DAVE AGUILERA (guitar), KEITH THOMPSON (bass and vocals), MARK HOLMES (vocals) and TOM BREYFOGLE (drums)--KILLER INSIDE features the pulsating rock track and lead single "Closer."

In other news, BLEED THE DREAM is confirmed to play the entire Vans Warped Tour this summer and will join The Almost, The Briggs, Meg & Dia and K-OS for the tour’s kick-off party on Friday, April 13 in Los Angeles. Vans Warped Tour dates launch June 28 in San Diego, CA and wrap August 25 in Los Angeles. BLEED THE DREAM will also perform at a special showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas on Saturday, March 17.

Equally aggressive and melodic, KILLER INSIDE features such songs as “You’ll Have To Lie, To Be Honest,” “Vampires (Don’t Kill For The Money),” “This Parking Lot’s A Murder Scene,” “Tell Someone Who Cares,” “Considering, This Time It Was Me” and “Tongue Tied.” The darkly beautiful and emotive tracks on KILLER INSIDE are a poignant tribute to Scott Gottlieb, the band’s original drummer who lost his battle to cancer in April 2006. “Musically, these are the best songs we’ve ever written,” notes bassists AGUILERA when discussing the band’s decision to continue after losing Scott. “That’s all you can do in life…keep going.”

BLEED THE DREAM has amassed widespread fans through their non-stop touring schedule. The band has spent time on both the Vans Warped Tour and Taste Of Chaos Tour and has performed with Hawthorne Heights, Pennywise, Yellowcard and Funeral For A Friend, among others. A recent tour with critically acclaimed and cutting-edge Japanese metal act Dir en grey has solidified the band’s place as one of the hard music scene’s emerging artists.
