The Slow Signal Fade calling it quits

Josh Mills of It's Alive! Media & Management had this to say:

Sad news to report..... LA’s The Slow Signal Fade are calling it quits. A simple, low key note from the band is below.... The Slow Signal Fade’s last show ever will be on Monday April 16th @ The Troubadour..... a free, all ages show. Having worked with the band since 2003 on their 2nd EP & only full length, it was more than a pleasure to work with this band. To see them live, hear the band progress musically on record, to see the long hours and endless touring along with being four of the nicest folks you could find, well, it’s a sad day for me personally to announce this. I know a lot of fans feel the same way too. I’ll miss the beautiful noise Margueritte, Ron, Chris and Aaron made for sure.
Best, Josh

From The Slow Signal Fade:

Hello All.... This just in!!! Some sad news. Los Angeles based shoegaze / indie rock outfit, THE SLOW SIGNAL FADE will be calling it a day after 5+ years of pavement pounding, excessively long van tours, and countless pleased fans. No tales of bad blood, scorned love affairs, or baby's mama drama here, the band has mutually decided that it was no longer possible to sustain a "normal" existence on the always "ON THE VERGE" lifestyle. They will be playing their FINAL SHOW EVER on Monday, April 16th at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA. The SSF play at 9:30, the show is ALL AGES and FREE!!! If you haven't had the chance to catch The SSF live over the past few years, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!! I RECOMMEND YOU DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!!
