See free movies this summer

Kids and adults alike can enjoy free movies on Wednesday mornings this summer at AMC Summer MovieCamp. An exciting and affordable option for summer fun, AMC Theatres will offer the community service program in 39 U.S. markets from June 27 to Aug. 15, 2007*.

The AMC Summer MovieCamp program presents free G- and PG-rated Hollywood movies on the big screen every Wednesday morning. Starting June 20, individual tickets will be available up to a week in advance and group reservations for 25 or more are available up to a week in advance at 120 participating AMC theatre locations. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and shows will begin at 10 a.m. nationwide**.

AMC Summer MovieCamp encourages moviegoers of all ages to enjoy the youthful days of summer. Popular with grandparents, parents and kids, AMC Summer MovieCamp allows kids to be kids and provides entertainment suitable for all ages. This year, AMC Summer MovieCamp will feature a selection of the top-performing G- and PG-rated films of 2006. Titles include “Happy Feet,” “Charlotte’s Web,” “Ice Age: The Meltdown” and “Open Season.” During Summer MovieCamp, AMC will also be offering KidsPackTM concession combos at a reduced price of just $3.00. KidsPack combos are regularly $5.50 (represents a 45% savings on the KidsPack); this offer is only valid during Summer MovieCamp show times.

Participating AMC markets include: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte (N.C.), Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus (Ohio), Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Hartford (Conn.), Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New Orleans, New York City (greater metropolitan), Norfolk (Va.), Oklahoma City, Omaha (Neb.), Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, Seattle, St. Louis, Tallahassee, Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, Tulsa (Okla.), West Palm (Fla.) and Washington, D.C.
