CMT toasts bluegrass on-air and the Web

Just in time for bluegrass month, CMT hosts all bluegrass hours on-air, and introduces a new bluegrass blog at bluegrass.cmt.com on Tuesday, May 13. CMT will feature a mix of current and past videos from bluegrass greats on-air, along with performances from its online series UNPLUGGED AT STUDIO 330, on Tuesday, May 13 from 6-8:00 a.m. and 9-11:00 a.m., ET/PT. Also launching on CMT.com this week are special bluegrass editions of the online video series WIDE OPEN COUNTRY and STACKED.

CMT.com’s latest entry in the blogosphere includes a dedicated bluegrass blog at bluegrass.cmt.com. The blog features artist postings and music news, along with exclusive video premieres. The blog features posts from artists including Rhonda Vincent, who recently premiered her new video “I Gotta Start Somewhere” at CMT.com, along with Dan Tyminski, Sierra Hull, The SteelDrivers, Blue Highway, Claire Lynch, Donna Hughes, NewFound Road, The Grascals and Dailey & Vincent.

CMT.com is the number one place to find bluegrass music videos, including exclusive performances from the online series UNPLUGGED AT STUDIO 330. Performances and interviews available for on-demand viewing feature artists including the Steeldrivers, Cadillac Sky (featuring Sonya Issacs), Sam Bush, Chris Thile, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury Band, Grascals, Cherryholmes, Nickel Creek, Rhonda Vincent, Mountain Heart, John Cowan, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and Old Crow Medicine Shoe.
