“SO FRESH AND SO CLEAN”
Hip-Hop Comedy. Poetry. Beatboxing.
bang. Comedy Theater
Saturdays May 17th, 24th, 31st, 2008
WHO: Two-time HBO Def Poet, Joe Hernández-Kolski, and internationally-known beatboxer, Joshua Silverstein, bring their unique blend of comedy, spoken word poetry and beatboxing to the bang Comedy Theater.
WHAT: “So Fresh and So Clean” is a fun 49min romp that addresses politics, ethnicity, careers, sexuality and, yes, women. It's a tip of the hat to the old comedy duos with a li'l hip-hop spin. (Imagine the Smothers Brothers meet Rahzel the beatboxer combined with that book of Truly Tasteless Jokes that you used to carry in your backpack during grade school.)

What people are already saying:
"This show is danger baring its soul."
Craig Robinson (comedian, "The Office," "Knocked Up")
"This show is not only compelling but it's laugh out loud funny. Sneaking in thought-provoking moments when you least expect it, Joe and Josh engage the audience from the moment they step on the stage. They address the inner thoughts that none of us have the courage to talk about. Loved it!"
Nikki Boyer (actor/host, TV Guide Network)
