Time to stir up new controversy. On May 16th, MTV News will bring you the second installment of its popular, provocative and controversial series, “The Hottest MC’s In The Game.”
Host Sway is joined by the always opinionated MTV Hip-Hop Brain Trust where the group convenes once more to debate, dissect, and ultimately declare the MC’s who are making the greatest impact in hip-hop… right now! This ain’t about career retrospectives; it's all about the moment. In the end, the group will reach consensus and name their #1, crowning the hottest MC in the game. Has last year’s #1 MC, Lil Wayne, done enough to keep his top spot?
Of course, getting there is more than half the fun! This is a no-holds barred battle of very strong wills. No other genre of music evokes and provokes so much passion from fans and so much competitiveness among its artists. "The Hottest MC's in the Game" captures that by presenting real, honest analysis of what's happening in hip-hop.
