Chiodos preparing limited edition album

After surpassing sales of over 162,000 copies of their breakout album BONE PALACE BALLET, CHIODOS is preparing to release a limited edition version of the album titled BONE PALACE BALLET: GRAND CODA October 28 (Equal Vision).

The group's second album, BONE PALACE BALLET -- originally released in September of 2007 -- debuted at #5 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart. The new version -- which the group headed back into the studio with producer Casey Bates to complete -- features four new songs as well as two acoustic versions of "I Didn't Say I Was Powerful, I Said I Was A Wizard" and "A Letter From Janelle," that have never been released to the public.

The new cover artwork for the disc from artist Paul Romano (Mastodon, Trivium) can be viewed here: http://tinyurl.com/57ez9c.

The loaded offering also includes a 30-minute DVD preview with live performances as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the band's inner circle. CHIODOS will release their first-ever full length DVD offering in 2009 that Doug Spangenberg (Lamb of God "Killadelphia" & "Walk With Me In Hell," Every Time I Die "Shit Happens") is on board to direct.

"We are really excited to be able to present the complete version of Bone Palace Ballet," says CHIODOS lead vocalist CRAIG OWENS. "Our fans have always supported us in everything we've done and I can't wait for them to experience the definitive release of Bone Palace Ballet: Grand Coda."

In video news, CHIODOS have tapped renowned director Darren Doane (AFI, Jimmy Eat World, As I Lay Dying) to lens the clip for their second single "The Undertaker's Thirst For Revenge Is Unquenchable. (The Final Battle)" For the performance-based video-set to feature the band performing live on the rooftop of a local club--CHIODOS is inviting fans to participate. The video shoot will take place Tuesday, September 16 at The Crofoot (1 South Saginaw, Pontiac, MI 48342). Fans should arrive promptly between 3:00-4:00 PM to pick up a wristband for entry; shooting will begin onsite at 4:00pm and wrap around 8:00pm. Expect to hear news of the clip's debut soon.
