Scott Detweiler's music to be featured in Jazz N Blues benefit concert for Domestic Violence Prevention Program

WHAT: J.M.C. Domestic Violence Prevention Program, Inc. will host Jazz N Blues, a benefit concert featuring music by jazz-harpist, Lori Andrews, and by New Orleans Blues Entertainer Scott Detweiler.

Los Angeles – The J.M.C. Domestic Violence Prevention Program, Inc., will host Jazz N Blues: A Benefit Concert, on Saturday, September 20th at the Madrid Theatre (21622 Sherman Way, Canoga Park, CA 91303).

Founded by therapist Cathleen Carlson, The J.M.C. Domestic Violence Prevention Program (J.M.C. DVPP) is an organization dedicated to the prevention of domestic abuse in Honduras. The goal of the organization is to establish 18 (eighteen) houses; one in each of the Honduran states. And, ultimately, to change the mindset of the culture about domestic abuse.

New Orleans Blues Entertainer, Scott Detweiler, will perform a full set of music from his new CD, “Made In New Orleans”. After a brief intermission, Jazz Harpist, Lori Andrews will also perform.
