The people have spoken and the management has come to their senses! Late last week I sent out an e-mail announcement that the Mayan Bar inside the Aztec Hotel in Monrovia was cancelling the Friday Happy Hour live music, featuring Dave Osti and Deanna Cogan (aka The Mellow D'z.) As far as I could see and thru the reports from both the musicians and the bar staff, it seemed like it was a success, and growing in popularity every week. So Dave was surprised and disappointed when they told him it was being discontinued. However, not more than 24 hours after the e-mail went out, they called Dave back and told him it was NOT being cancelled and apologized for their error in judgement! So if any of you had anything to do with it - I thank you and so do THE MELLOW D'z! Now you can really show your support by being there this FRIDAY, 9/19 from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Complete details below.
