Anarbor battling for mtvU's Freshmen title

Phoenix, AZ pop-rock band Anarbor have been announced as one of five artists battling it out for mtvU’s coveted title of Freshmen this week. The band is asking that fans visit mtvU and cast their votes for The Brightest Green! Fan votes determine which videos get into rotation on mtvU every week. If Anarbor takes this week’s title, the guys will release an exclusive video next Monday for their fans!

Anarbor released their debut Hopeless Records EP, Free Your Mind on March 10. Crafted in Los Angeles by producer Mike Green (Paramore, Good Charlotte) over a four-week span in Los Angeles, Free Your Mind's formation came from a desire to break out from the "fad band" chokehold and delve into what was real.

Anarbor is currently on the 2009 Sub City Take Action Tour, Presented by FYE. The 2009 lineup features headliner Cute Is What We Aim For, along with Breathe Carolina, Meg & Dia, and Every Avenue. The annual nationwide charity tour, now in its eighth year, raises funds and awareness for youth involvement in charitable action.

The band has just been added to the lineup for Bamboozle Left on April 5th in Irvine CA where they will be performing alongside such acts as Deftones, 50 Cent, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice and many more.
