Comedian Eric Schwartz (Smooth-E) on tour in support of "Parodies Nuts!"

Mild man-nerd Eric Schwartz goes from wimp to pimp with a flick of his specs to become Smooth-E: a comedic crusader who delivers his message with lyrical force.

Comedian Eric Schwartz today released "Parodies Nuts!," a CD/DVD containing 28 audio and 25 video jewels that have already gripped radio, TV and the Web with over 15 million online views. Smooth-E is becoming a regular on the front pages of YouTube and Myspace with hits like "Crank That Kosha Boy," "A Milli Vanilli" and "Lean Like a Gringo."

One of the nation's hottest rising stand-up headliners, Eric Schwartz aka Smooth-E and his music have appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,"BET's "Comic View," Showtime's "White Boyz in the Hood," Mun2, SiTV and more. Radio jocks across the country regularly incorporate Smooth-E into their shows, including Rick Dees (Weekly Top 40), Shorty and the Boyz (95.7 The Vibe, Kansas City), Keith Brooks (100.5 The Zone, Sacramento) and AJ's Playhouse (Channel 933, San Diego).

Pulling off funny, authentic-sounding parodies is a tough nut to crack. But Smooth-E cracks away, appealing across the board from hip-hop heads to soccer moms. Maybe it's because he upholds one of the most important laws of hip-hop: "Rap about what you know about." What if all you know about is small-town sterilization ("Suburbia"), having no bounce to your ballin' ("Can't Afford It") and inappropriate relationships with laundry ("Love To This Sock")?

An alternative to the often wacky or weird song spoof, Smooth-E offers a fresh blend, using popular hip-hop songs as a familiar entree into his world.

"Mrs. Officer" may be Lil' Wayne's sexy seductress, but Smooth-E is entranced by the orthopedic footwear of "Mrs. Crossing Guard." The bespectacled rhyme spitter wears multiple hats, writing, producing and performing countless characters in his songs and videos.

Will he be the next "King of Parodies?" Or is this just a sip of what Smooth-E has to offer? For now, he's content to kick 'em where it counts in "Parodies Nuts!," leaving audiences doubled over on the ground in the fetal position."Parodies Nuts" is available exclusively at www.SmoothE.tv

Smooth-E's multi city tour, "Parodies Nuts Live!," launched in January 2009.
