Mumiy Troll cancels San Francisco and Los Angeles shows

MUMIY TROLL POSTPONES U.S. LIVE APPEARANCES DUE TO appendicitis ATTACK

San Francisco and Los Angeles Tour Dates To Be Rescheduled

Ilya Lagutenko, lead singer of Russian band Mumiy Troll (www.mumiytroll.com ), fell ill in the early morning hours of March 1, following a concert at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. Lagutenko is recovering after a successful appendectomy.

Mumiy Troll’s shows March 3 and 4 at The Independent in San Francisco and March 5 and 6 at The Roxy in Los Angeles will be rescheduled at a later date. Additionally, Mumiy Troll’s appearance later this month at the Austin, Texas music conference South By Southwest (SXSW) is cancelled due to health reasons stated above.

In January and February, Mumiy Troll sold out shows in the United States and Canada in support of their North American debut Comrade Ambassador, scheduled for release April 7 on their independent imprint Mumiy Troll Records, via Dismanic Records and Ryko Distribution (http://www.rykodistribution.com ).
