3 Inches of Blood to tour in support of new album

The world is eagerly awaiting the triumphant return of one of the biggest defenders of traditional heavy metal, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, and after one listen to the new album’s vicious lead-off cut, “Battles and Brotherhood,” it is evident that the band has crafted the definitive offering of their already much heralded career. Decibel Magazine claims “3IOB have truly come into their own; fist-bangin’ anthems.”

The crushing new release, Here Waits Thy Doom, is now available in stores everywhere. The band have also added a special, one off show supporting Slipknot in Auburn, WA on Oct. 10th. Either see below or head over now to www.myspace.com/3iob to view their complete touring itinerary. On the MySpace page you can also stream new tracks and view some new webisodes documenting the recent recording process.

Cam Pipes (vocals) states: “There's a lot of anticipation amongst the band members right now. Everything from the record coming out in a matter of days to starting the heavy touring schedule again and building a mutually beneficial relationship with our new label home. We're all looking forward to being busy again. The live shows are the main reason we do this stuff. We haven't really been out on the road for over eight months, so it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to get re-accustomed to the extended trips. We hope fans respond well to the new songs, as that's the biggest test of any live show at the beginning of an album cycle. We look forward to seeing you all soon.”

3 INCHES OF BLOOD will be performing a very special headlining, one-off CD release show at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Sept. 9th, so if you are in the Southern California area, you don’t want to miss out on this one. Also, look for the band touring throughout North America all this fall with In Flames, Between The Buried and Me and The Faceless.

Either see below or visit www.myspace.com/3iob to view their complete itinerary. Here Waits Thy Doom will set the new standard for heavy metal.
