Elizaveta was born in New York, grew up in Russia and has traveled across the world in pursuit of her muse. She is a piano-playing alchemist with a distinct voice, whose music is a quirky and magical brew of styles, and in addition to jazz, pop and rock, also features opera as a key ingredient. In words of a 12-year old fan, her music consists of 'rain, lightning, dark rooms, someone whispering into your ear, cathedral choir, blue and breezy day on a lake, and shadows from the trees on fresh snow.
9PM: SHAWN HLOOKOFF http://www.hlookoff.com/
Singer/songwriter Shawn Hlookoff makes it look easy. His chiseled features, dreamy eyes and ear-to-ear grin are captivating to say the least, but nothing can conceal the energy bursting from within the British Columbia native. With critically acclaimed full-length album Both Sides, songs on hit shows such as MTV’s The Hills and ABC’s Eli Stone, and a Guinness World Record under his belt, Shawn is a force to be reckoned with.
Proficient on the guitar, piano, bass and trombone, His extensive catalogue of songs is sprinkled with influences from some of the greats; Elton John, Coldplay, Marvin Gay, John Mayer and Radiohead to name a few. Currently working on exciting material for his next full-length album, composing for creative magnate ABC/Disney, and showcasing across North America, Shawn Hlookoff is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he’s just getting started.
A 23 year old classical cellist and multi-genre electric cellist, Tina Guo has appeared as a soloist with many orchestras internationally, including the San Diego Symphony, State of Mexico National Symphony, Thessaloniki State Symphony in Greece, Petrobras Symphony, Barra Mansa Symphony in Brazil and the Vancouver Island Symphony in British Columbia. She performed recently at the Grammy Awards with the Foo Fighters, at the MTV Movie Awards, during Comic Con at the House of Blues in San Diego as a member of the Battlestar Galactica Orchestra, and with Brazilian guitarist Victor Biglione in a Jimi Hendrix Tribute Concert at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janiero. She has also performed with Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, John Legend, LeAnn Rhimes, Chris Isaak, Il Divo, and Michael McDonald.
Tina's first solo CD, "Autumn Winds," a classical/new-age album is available now on Itunes. Her metal music video single "Queen Bee" was released in August 2009, premiering at the LA Downtown Film Festival. The music video won "Best Music Video/Short Film" at the Festival. Tina's new Industrial Metal band, "Clan of Guo" is in the studio writing and recording.
Peter Goetz (Getz) lures in colorful crowds on nearly every continent. His tunes combine a soulful California beach-laden style with a dose of raw emotion and lyrical grit, echoing the solitude and depth of a lone troubadour. The singer, who has visited more than 50 countries as a traveler and filmmaker, fuses his passion for storytelling and songwriting to uplift listeners of all cultures. Exposed to a potpourri of the world’s cultures, Goetz gained fluency in Spanish and Portuguese, broadened his songwriting skills, and found his voice serenading international crowds around campfires.
He used his wide range of skills to direct a bilingual documentary feature film about Peruvian surfer Sofia Mulanovich, which won critical acclaim on the festival circuit, before releasing his first recorded music, an EP entitled “Outside Observer.” The single “I Got Love” benefited the most from his travels, as Goetz was able to team up with the The Che Che Group, a Nairobi based A Cappella octet, to create an African version of the song while on a humanitarian mission for HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere).
