We wanted to fill you in on the latest from our band Smile Empty Soul (Capitol/EMI). The troop-supporting band Smile Empty Soul just released their latest album Consciousness, which can be purchased on iTunes or in the PX (stores on US military bases). Smile Empty Soul are currently offering a free download for all military members. The song is titled “This is War.”

From the band:

Smile Empty Soul would like to offer this free download as a way of thanking the proud men and women who serve our great country. We appreciate your bravery, your commitment to our freedom and we keep you in our thoughts for a safe return home.

This free download includes an acoustic performance of “This Is War” recorded exclusively for the military. Additionally, we’ve included the new single Don’t Ever Leave from our brand new album Consciousness. We hope you enjoy our music as much as we respect the hard work you do for our great country. God Bless You All,
Smile Empty Soul

Smile Empty Soul released their much anticipated third album Consciousness on August 25th through F.O.F. Label Group and Capitol/EMI Music. Since the release, Smile Empty Soul has been featured on AOL Music and iTunes. They just finished a national tour with Buckcherry and Saliva.

The trio (Sean Danielsen, vocals, guitar; Ryan Martin, bass; and Jake Kilmer, drums) met in high school and started playing gigs all over the Sunset Strip. After captivating audiences all over Southern California, Smile Empty Soul unleashed smash single “Bottom Of A Bottle,” reaching Gold status, and became the hard rock anthem for head bangers everywhere. The track still receives radio play on Rock stations across the nation.

Smile Empty Soul has shared the stage with artists such as: Hinder, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mud, Saliva, Finger Eleven, Trapt, Rev. Theory and many others. They will be kicking off their first tour in over two years this summer to rock the pants off their old, die-hard fans and the inevitable new ones that will come along as a result of their third masterpiece.
