PlayNetwork, maurices and Sonicbids are looking for the next best independent female rockers in a nationwide talent search called “Small Town Sound.”

* Entries will go through three rounds of selection – a public vote online and a panel vote by judges including The Bangles, Chrissie Hynde and Sick of Sarah
* The 10 finalists will have two weeks to create an original song to be live on the site for public voting
* Grand prize winner will perform locally and have a chance to open for The Bangles and Sick of Sarah at a major music festival in the spring
