The San Gabriel Valley Music Theatre is proud to kick off their 2011/2012 Season at the Historic San Gabriel Mission Playhouse with a Celebrity Event: “Swingin & Croonin: A Night of Prima, Dino and Bing”. Presented in conjunction with UD Factory LLC, this sensational celebrity musical event will take audiences on an iconic journey back to Old Vegas, when the names PRIMA, MARTIN, CROSBY were the kings of 'Swingin & Croonin'. Starring Louis Prima Jr, Ricci Martin, Phil Crosby - the famous sons of Legends Louis Prima, Dean Martin and grandson of Bing Crosby, this fantastic musical event will feature some of the greatest tunes ever heard that defined a generation and leave the crowd Jump, Jiving and Wailing for more.

Three Legends, One Amazing Show:
Louis Prima Jr. carries on the legacy of his father, who was known as the original “King of Swing”, by bringing his famous father’s music to life, with an energetic performance and the unique, first-hand perspective of being the son of a music icon. Destined for musical greatness, Louis Jr. began his musical career with drums at the mere age of five. Moving on to piano by eight, Prima Jr. was becoming a virtuoso of all musical instruments, including trumpet and guitar. In the vein of his father, Prima Jr. set out to put together a show with a swinging and rocking band that will "Jive" you crazy with the feel of the "Wildest Show" in Vegas.

For six decades, Dean Martin entertained millions of adoring fans around the world. Since 2003, his son, Ricci Martin, has traveled around the globe entertaining countless numbers of fans - both young and old alike- in a profoundly entertaining show. The show features Ricci singing the classic hits of his father as he celebrates his life like you've never seen before. Reviews of the show and audience response have been tremendous! “It’s loaded with music, personal photos and true life stories not only about Dean Martin, the international Entertainer, but also Dean Martin, the Father” - and they are told from the heart by none other than his son, Ricci.
For the last several years Phil Crosby has been performing in the Los Angeles area, including several Hollywood landmark theaters, and around the world! He has appeared onstage, on Television and radio, and in nightclubs in L.A., New York City, San Francisco, Nashville Tennessee, Tokyo Japan, and Dublin Ireland! Phil Crosby has developed into a seasoned crooner with his own style and interpretive ability inspired not just by the great jazz singers, such as his grandfather, but by a world of popular music and over a century of American songs!
