National Night Out celebration in Pasadena Aug. 2

28th ANNUAL NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

It’s America’s Night Out Against Crime!

It's America's Night Out Against Crime! The Pasadena Police Department is proud to participate in the "28th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and your local Target Stores. This year, the event will take place on Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Police Department’s will hold a main event at Victory Park with booths, vendors, activities, and food BBQ’d by P.D. Officers.

Your Business or Neighborhood Watch/Association can show support for “National Night Out” by organizing a block party, Business Watch or Neighborhood Watch meeting. If you plan to host any of these events, we ask that you register with the Pasadena Police Department so that a representative can plan a visit to your celebration or meeting. Every effort will be made by police department representatives to visit each party or meeting, as this event presents a great opportunity for us to interact with you. Please note, due to the high number of gatherings expected on this occasion, the Police Department representatives will make no formal presentations. Police Department representatives will have only enough time for a brief visit to each location. Individual residents can also participate by leaving their house and porch lights on during the hours of “National Night Out”. These homes will not be included on the list for our representatives to visit. Participants must register by Friday, July 22nd.

To register, please contact Police Department’s Community Services Division at (626) 744-7657.
