RWAKE sees the premiere of their track “It Was Beautiful, But Now It’s Sour“, taken from the band’s forthcoming album Rest, online now at NPR.org. “It Was Beautiful, But Now It’s Sour”, a near-12 minute reawakening of the band, is the first preview of new music in four years since the acclaimed Voices of Omens album.
RWAKE has recently unveiled the cover art for Rest online now at this location. RWAKE recorded the follow-up to Voices of Omens at Engine Studios in Chicago, IL with noted engineer Sanford Parker. Rest will see its North American release on September 27th on CD, digital, as well as pressed on olive green and 180 gram black vinyl. Pre-order options for the CD and vinyl can be found here.
RWAKE’s now-legendary 2002 release Hell Is A Door To The Sun was recently re-issued this past March. The long-out-of-print album has been re-mixed by Sanford Parker, re-mastered, and re-packaged to include new artwork, photography, and liner notes from the band. Hell Is a Door To The Sun is available now at this location and digitally via iTunes.
RWAKE has confirmed a hometown show at Downtown Music Hall in Little Rock, AR for later this month. Additional tour plans will be announced soon.
