Uproar Festival launches Miss UPROAR 2011 contest

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival has announced a new element of this year’s tour: Sullen Art Collective's Miss UPROAR 2011 Model Search.

The model search competition will take place at each UPROAR Festival show, with the winner in each city qualifying to be chosen as one of the three finalists that will be flown to Los Angeles to compete for the grand prize. Sullen Art Collective's Miss UPROAR 2011 will become a Sullen Angel, and will be featured in ad campaigns for Sullen Art Collective, Rockstar Energy Drink, and Jägermeister Canada. The winner will also receive Sullen clothing, a year supply of Rockstar Energy Drinks and more.

The contest is open to all women 18 years of age and older. To enter, simply create an online profile at http://www.rockstaruproar.com/missuproar. The top eight online contestants in each city--as chosen by an industry panel of judges--will participate in a competition on stage at their city's Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival tour date.

The winners at each local tour date will be narrowed down to three national finalists who will be flown to Los Angeles where they will participate in a photo and video shoot with photographer David Heisler, stylist Sarah Ellis and hair and makeup artist Elizabeth LaGue. The finalists will also compete at a red carpet event co-hosted by Daisy de la Hoya from VH1's Daisy Of Love and Sullen Angel Bernadette Macias, and photographed by Nicole Caldwell. At the event, one contestant will be crowned the Sullen Art Collective's Miss UPROAR 2011.

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival features multi-platinum headliner Avenged Sevenfold, along with main stage artists Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine and Escape The Fate. The North American touring music and lifestyle festival also includes Best Buy Music Gear Stage headliners Sevendust, as well as Black Tide, Art Of Dying and Hell Or Highwater.

The all-day Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will run from 2pm-11pm in most cities, and tickets are affordably priced between $20 and $69.99. Go to www.RockstarUproar.com and www.LiveNation.com for current tour dates and to purchase tickets.
