Title Fight joins AP Tour

Fresh off releasing one of this year’s most critically acclaimed punk/hardcore records, SHED (May 2011, SideOneDummy), Kingston, PA’s TITLE FIGHT are excited to join the annual AP Tour this Fall, presented by Alternative Press Magazine. Supporting headliner Four Year Strong, alongside Gallows, The Swellers, and Sharks, Title Fight was handpicked by Alternative Press’ staff to play the 36-date North American tour.

Kicking off with a close-to-home show on October 13 in Allentown, PA at Crocodile Rock Café, the six-week trek wraps in Cleveland on November 26 at the House of Blues. Pre-sale tickets are available from August 1-5 at http://theaptour.ducatking.com/ , and on sale on August 6. See all tour dates below.

“We're really excited to be a part of the tour, especially to get out with our friends in Four Year Strong again,” says Title Fight drummer Ben Russin.

Having cut their teeth sharing the stage with heavyweights such as Four Year Strong, New Found Glory, Bayside, Senses Fail and H2O, Title Fight most recently wrapped a Spring headlining tour with support from Touché Amoré and The Menzingers. Title Fight will be playing a handful of US and European festivals prior to The AP Tour, including FYF (Los Angeles), This Is Hardcore (Philadelphia), Pukklepop (Belgium), Area 4 (Germany), and Reading and Leeds (UK), as well as the band’s first ever tours in Australia and Spain.

Building an enormous amount of excitement in the punk/hardcore scene by releasing a number of demos and 7-inches since forming in 2003, accompanied by an intense live show, Title Fight’s full-length debut received an overwhelming amount of positive fan and critical praise. Shed, produced by Walter Schreifels (of Gorilla Biscuits/Quicksand/Rival Schools), debuted at #8 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, and earned the band endless comparisons to scene staples Jawbreaker, Lifetime, and Seaweed, to name a few. The AV Club comments, Shed is filled with songs that are “tight, punchy, and perfect for both heartfelt sing-alongs and circle pits,” while Alternative Press says, Shed is “wonderfully rough and ambitious.”

Title Fight is Jamie Rhoden (guitar, vocals), Ned Russin (bass, vocals), Shane Moran (guitar), and Ben Russin (drums).
