It's good to see Monogroove is still around--I saw them about 8 years ago at an IPO show over in the Palms district. Pat and I were there because Evie was part of the show. As I recall they did some "retro-60's" style music, and their bass player had a really sporty looking Rickenbacker. Unfortunately, their gig at Mr. T's coincides with Pacific Electric weekend at OERM. One point in Mr. T's favor is that one can go there on the Gold Line--it's only a block away from the Highland Park Station.
