Gentleman Jack Art, Beats + Lyrics in LA Oct. 5

Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey presents its 5th annual tour of Art, Beats + Lyrics, a groundbreaking multimedia art and music exhibition highlighting urban art and the original themes of hip-hop and other music forms. Guests 21 years and up can enjoy smooth classic cocktails courtesy of Gentleman Jack, take in the artwork displayed around the venue, interact with the artists and practice their own creative skills with the always popular Digi-Graf Digital Spray Painting. Attendees can also create sharable animated images of themselves dancing, floating through time and space and interacting with friends in the Stop Motion Photo Area. Gentleman Jack will also be giving away 500 limited edition Art, Beats + Lyrics posters signed by the artists.

WHO:  Musical performances by hip-hop and soul acts like “The Funky Drummer” himself, Clyde Stubblefield, rapper/DJ Scarface formerly of the Geto Boys, Shock G of Digital Underground, dubstep group Mansions on the Moon and local DJs. Artwork will be displayed from up-and-coming artists.  Event creators Jabari Graham and Dubelyoo will be on-site.

WHY: Now in its fifth year, Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey’s Art, Beats + Lyrics was created by Jabari Graham and his Cult Creative partner Dubelyoo with the hopes of exposing today’s generation beyond traditional culture and to allow attendees to experience out of the ordinary arts, dance and music. The artists involved speak to many generations and Gentleman Jack is proud to be involved with such a positive group of artists inspiring other artists, as well as the masses.
