Barbara Morrison tribute Dinah Washington Nov. 24 in LA

Barbara Morrison, the critically acclaimed and popular Jazz & Blues singer, will return By Popular Demand to Catalina Bar & Grill, Catalina Bar & Grill to present her signature show, Barbara Morrison in “A Tribute To Dinah Washington – Queen of the Blues” accompanied by the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center All Star Big Band conducted by John Stephens.  Members of the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center All Star Big will include:  Ron Barrows, Cindy Lee Bradley, Tom Bridges, Bram Glik, George Harper, Ron Hershew, Jeff Kaye, Mel Lee, Paul Nowell, Tom Ralls, Carl Randell, Tom Scott, Curt Sletten, Alvin Starks and Alvin Steinberg.  Morrison’s song list will include a bevy of songs popularized by Dinah Washington including: “What a Diff’rence a Day Makes,” “This Bitter Earth,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “You Go To My Head,” “If It’s The Last Thing I Do,” “Confessin’ The Blues,” “I Wanna Be Loved” and many more.
