'A Christmas Carol' in Sierra Madre Nov. 23-Dec. 20

            This year, Sierra Madre Playhouse presents a stage adaptation of “A Christmas Carol,” Infused with traditional Christmas Carols and dancing. Intact is the beloved, classic story of the miserly Scrooge, the Cratchit family, the ghosts, and the tale of a man lost until inspired with the Christmas spirit in 1843 London.

            Christina Harris is adapter and director.  With directing credits around the country, she is also an actor and dancer. She was the 2009 winner of Master Of Dance, a dance competition on The Learning Channel (TLC). She is the drama teacher at The Frostig School in Pasadena.

            The cast for this new production of “A Christmas Carol” includes (in alphabetical order) Clay Bunker, Marianna Catz, Michael Edelstein, Jessie Ellico Franks, Lance Frantzich, Kiara Lisette Gamboa, Allie Guerrini, Charlotte Hardy,  Mary Harmon, James Harnagel, Zayd Jaber, Fionn James, Matthew Kerchner, Elaine Kratofil, Steve Kubick, Sarah Logan,  Karl Maschek, Marvin Matthews, Michael McAdam, Meg Momsen, Julie Morgentaler, Max Salinger, Brad Satterwhite, Toni Smith, Suzan Solomon, John Szura, Sarah Watson and Kayla Wilson.

            Stage manager: Ashley Jo Navarro. Assistant stage manager: Emilie Brazeau.  Costume design: Liz Peterson.  Light design: Jason Goussak. Sound design: Christina Harris. Properties: Linda DeMetrick and Anne Marie Atwan.

            Reservations are recommended, as it is anticipated that many performances will sell out.
