Shimmy Showcase Sunday Oct. 21

October 21   -  Coordinator Abraiha welcomes the lovely May, Kelsey, Liz, Shauntel and Jaquelina for another Shimmyshowcase evening of dazzling cabaret bellydancing.

Everyone is invited for a relaxing evening among friends.  Select your favorite beverage, hot or cold, from an assortment of coffees, teas, smoothies or juice; add to that a tasty sandwich or pastry; and then seat yourself in the entertainment area to enjoy some really great dancing at NO cover charge!  

SHIMMY SHOWCASE begins on most Sundays at 5:30 p.m. at Viento y Agua Coffee House in Long Beach at 4007 East 4^th Street; 562-434-1182.  Please refer to the detailed schedule below for more information about upcoming showcases and performance opportunities.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before show time (30 min if you’re a performer!), so you can stop at the refreshment counter to get a delicious beverage, snack or sandwich; then head for the show area and grab a seat so you don’t miss any of our great performers!

October 28 –  Halloween is upon us, and Ilana returns withMeryem Vani, Tehani, Akasha Starr, Sarah Al Nour, andDraca and introduces new dancer Elissa and Cupcake Factory.  They come to haunt Viento y Agua once again with the annual  “Shivershowcase!”   Be sure to join us and see what thrills and chills these talented dancers mix in with their shimmies!  

November 4 -  Amber returns to host another Shimmyshowcase event, and welcomes guest dancersSabrina, Meredith Marie, Nashua, and Rosé!   We know you’ll love all of these very talented dancers and hope you will come see them at Viento y Agua on this Sunday evening! 

November  11  -  Coordinator Draca welcomes the enchanting Jayel and Rima back to Shimmyshowcase to perform for you.  We still have openings for dancers, so if you would like to perform with these lovely ladies,  please reply to this message, or send an email toShimmyshowcase@gmail.com.

November 18 –  The Victorian/Steampunk Shimmyshowcase last May was so popular that we’re having a do-over!    Once again coordinator Saviyapresents  “Steamy Cameos/Victorian Steampunk Vaudevillian” featuring Aileen, Draca, Bella and Katerina &Erica as Kalliope.   We again encourage everyone to add to the fun by dressing in Victorian Steampunk attire, just as we did the last time!   We hope to see you at this wonderfully fun Shimmyshowcase! 

November 25 – NO SHIMMYSHOWCASE   - Happy Thanksgiving!
