In the spring of 1994, two outcast teens make a pact to die happy: see Nirvana at the Hollywood Bowl then jump off the 101 overpass together. But a first kiss, a restraining order and Kurt Cobain’s declining health threaten their plans.

The Hollywood Reporter calls this grunge rock fueled love story “powerfully engaging” and “richly detailed” and the script was named to the 2012 Tracking Board’s Young and Hungry List. The creative team includes 2012 Ovation Nominees director Neil Patrick Stewart and scenic artist Haley Ho, SHINER stars Graham Sibley (CRACK WHORE GALORE, HOUSE OF GOLD) and Laila Ayad (BACHELORETTE).
