| Dear Wrecking Crew Friends, Family and Fans Here's the latest update. We are now entering the 16th year of our journey with the film and I hope we can release it soon. If I've learned anything in the last 16 years, it's never give a release date (especially with printed material). We are having meetings with distributors, but until that 'Hollywood' thing happens, we'll keep going down this path of fundraisers and screenings to pay off the final licensing. We have some wonderful screenings coming up so I hope you'll tell anyone you know in those areas to come and check us out. Another part of the marketing that has helped tremendously is hitting the 'Like' button on Facebook. I'm hoping to get to 17,000 fans in the next couple of weeks! As I've mentioned many times before, the main thing that has kept this project alive is the incredible support from people like you. Not just financially, but all the letters and notes of encouragement that I receive daily really help me to keep going and persevere with getting this film out there. A few years ago, someone suggested I should take a break and walk away from the project for a couple of months. As we all know, you can't jump off a moving train and we need to take it to the station ALL THE WAY!! So the train will continue moving. When we receive donations, it can take a month or two to update the donation list on the website. I apologize for the delay. For those who have already donated, please check to see if your name or company is on the donations page. If it's missing or there is a mistake, please email me at denny@wreckingcrewfilm.com and I'll fix it. I want to make sure everyone receives their credit. We've also added a couple more levels of donations to include "A&R" for $500 donation and "Artist with a 5 album deal" for $5,000. Make a Donation We are offering a chance to win tickets for every fundraiser screening that is open to the public. I will pull the names of the winner a week before each screening. The latest out take is from an interview I recently did with Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers and Don Randi. Its been so much fun meeting these guys, and also seeing the joy in their faces when they are reunited at screenings of our film. Please, please tell your friends. | Sponsorship Opportunities | |||||||||
| If you are interested in sponsoring seats for various events it's a great opportunity for the film as well as the sponsors themselves. Sponsors have given their tickets to their clients and friends as well as having great screen time with their logo before and after the film plays. We have had car dealers, local bands, music schools, teachers, insurance brokers, music stores, record shops, grocery stores, restaurants, production companies, recording studios and so many more participate. We even had a Birthday greeting that a fan asked to put on the screen. We can offer that as well. The sponsorship money goes towards expenses for setting up the screenings so that we don't have to use valuable assets from the film.
